Rubber-steel gaskets from HST are used for the secure sealing of flange connections in all areas of pipeline construction.

The rubber-steel flange gaskets have a steel insert vulcanized into an elastomeric material. During vulcanization, extreme adhesion is achieved between the steel core and the rubber coating. Even under the highest stresses, this makes it impossible to shift, detach or blow out.

Depending on the respective elastomer, the flange gaskets can be used in a wide range of applications and are suitable for water, steam, gas, air, acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, among others, whereby operating temperatures of up to approx. 200 °C are possible.

Rubber-steel gaskets are manufactured to ASME and DIN/EN specifications.
