Ring gaskets, also known as a Ring Type Joint (RTJ) or Ring Joint gasket, are purely metallic gaskets with high dimensional accuracy and surface quality and are used in operating environments with highest pressures and extreme temperatures. Their finely machined surfaces are free of scratches or other recesses with close tolerance to be seated perfectly in the matching grooves machined in the mating flanges.

Ring Type Joint gaskets are available in both R Octagonal and Oval, BX and RX shape machined from any selected metal compatible to the medium handled and suitable to operating service conditions. Standard Ring Type Gaskets are manufactured to ASME B 16.20 , API 6 A , API 17D, EN12560-5 and GOST specifications in accordance with the customer specified requirements.

Spiral-wound gaskets are high-performance semi-metallic sealing components widely used in industrial piping systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and valves. These gaskets are super springy and highly resilient by ensuring tremendous flange tightness with leak free flange assembly joint even under high pressure operations with wide pressure fluctuations and with severe thermo cyclic temperature variation.

We supply multiple gasket styles including Style R, Style IR, and Style CGI spiral-wound gaskets, available with inner and outer rings. These designs help improve flange alignment, prevent blowouts, and maintain sealing stability under high-pressure conditions.

At the highest pressures and temperatures, Kammprofile Gaskets are ideal for sealing flange connections under extreme operating conditions. They combine the good adaptability of soft cut material gaskets with the high stability of metal gaskets.

With its unique construction of a metal core and both sided soft material layers, kammprofile gaskets are made to suit for low seating stress requirement in light flanges and also for very high seating stress requirement in heavy flanges. With its recovering capability and tight sealing capacity they are able to serve as an effective and leak free seal even in the services with fluctuating pressure and temperature.

Kammprofile gaskets are available with metal core of any compatible material and with any soft layer material suitable to severe application and service condition. They are extensively used in pipelines and also in Heat Exchanger flanges and other equipments as an effective alternative to metal jacketed gaskets.

Rubber-steel gaskets from HST are used for the secure sealing of flange connections in all areas of pipeline construction.

The rubber-steel flange gaskets have a steel insert vulcanized into an elastomeric material. During vulcanization, extreme adhesion is achieved between the steel core and the rubber coating. Even under the highest stresses, this makes it impossible to shift, detach or blow out.

Depending on the respective elastomer, the flange gaskets can be used in a wide range of applications and are suitable for water, steam, gas, air, acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, among others, whereby operating temperatures of up to approx. 200 °C are possible.

HST offers FKM (Viton) hammer union seals, which provide superior resistance to high temperatures and harsh chemicals, making them ideal for demanding industrial applications (H2S resistance).
