Ring gaskets, also known as a Ring Type Joint (RTJ) or Ring Joint gasket, are purely metallic gaskets with high dimensional accuracy and surface quality and are used in operating environments with highest pressures and extreme temperatures. Their finely machined surfaces are free of scratches or other recesses with close tolerance to be seated perfectly in the matching grooves machined in the mating flanges.

Ring Type Joint gaskets are available in both R Octagonal and Oval, BX and RX shape machined from any selected metal compatible to the medium handled and suitable to operating service conditions. Standard Ring Type Gaskets are manufactured to ASME B 16.20 , API 6 A , API 17D, EN12560-5 and GOST specifications in accordance with the customer specified requirements.
